Let's Find Her

After doing a power packed performance, Will Page was on his way to his psychologist. He was a lead singer and a guitarist on his band. Band was called CRAZY MIKE and it was named after the memories of his grandfather Mike page. Will owes millions of hearts for his performance. April was his psychologist and she was best friend to. He used to visit April twice in a week for his mental health. After finishing that session he went to home.

          It was a middle of night he waked from his sleep because of his terrible memory. He never shared that with anyone before including April. He never had complete sleep, since after her loss. He did his best to forget about her but nothing helped him, hence he went to alcohol. Next day morning, he went to April and he shared that

“She was Eva and we were high school sweethearts. I knew her since she was 6. We were used to play together. We got married and she was pregnant to. Everything went beautiful and nice until that day.”

He couldn’t able to continue after that, he started crying. He cried like his own lungs flooded with tears. He couldn’t control his feelings and went out in the middle of session. April tried her best to control him but she couldn’t. She also went along with him. They spent their time together and they loved their company. They were in a bar down the street, while she had a phone call from his clinic and she went because it was an emergency. He started drinking in her absence. He drank like a duck in bathtub. He couldn’t drive, hence he walked to home. While he saw an angry women slapped a little girl. He went to the child and he took a closer look, she had a broken hand and it was tied with a piece of her shirt. She could barely see through her eyes, because someone treated her like a slave and she got some bite marks to. Her hair was like a mess and head was bleeding. She patched her skirt here and there. He tried to touch her. As soon as touched her, she fell into his hands. He shocked by seeing that she had support for standing because her leg was broken. He took her to the hospital.  

The doctor asked him to stay away from her, because he was drank. The treatment lasted for whole night. He just slept in the waiting room. He doesn’t remember anything about last night but he remembered her. He asked the nurse about her and the nurse replied that she was in room no. 12.  He ran to her and opened the door where he was she was sleeping. He sat next to her in the chair and he wrapped her hand into his hands which made her to wake. The first word he said to her was

“Hey plum cake, I’m here”

“How you are doing?” he asked.

She thanked him by shedding her cute little tears. He requested her to take rest and he ran down to inform the doctor that she was wake. The doctor came and checked her stats. He informed that if he didn’t pick her hospital she could barely last a week. And he also informed that he could took her home within a week but her broken arm and leg would took 2 months. He was well aware of her condition.

He went down to call an orphanage from the hospital’s landline while he remembered his child in Eva, he cut off the line and he decided keep her with him. He went to check her where he asked him to sit along with her in the bed. She hugged him her cute little hands and he tilted her head by placing his hands under her cheeks and kissed her, and he said

“Don’t worry my plum cake, you have me now”

He introduced him as Will and she said her name was Mia. He used to call her plum cake and she also loved the name plum cake. He saw her has his own child.  He loved to spend time with her. He felt something with her that he never from anyone. It was very different for him and it makes him very happy. It felt like he found something that he lost. After doing some serious checkup he took her home.

 The first thing he did was, he took her to an orphanage and he registered her name, then he adopted her has his own child.  After that he took her to shopping to buy her new clothes and toys for her to play. He did a huge Purchase with her, like he never did. He brought her a new model wheel chair that she could use it until her broken legs got cured. He took great care of his plum cake. He enjoyed being father.

One day she started screaming in middle of the night, Will was terrified of her. He doesn’t know what to do, suddenly he remembered his mother. he took her head and placed on his chest and he covered her with his hands and started singing,

“Lavender’s blue, dilly, dilly,

It was an American folk song, Will mother used to sing for him when he was afraid. She felt asleep like she never did. Will tried to let go of her and she doesn’t let of him. She rolled into his hands like a piece of fish in little sushi roll. He slept with her. Since after she used to sleep with Will and she found peace within his hands.

Months passed, they were happy together. The first thing she did when her bone were fixed was she ran into him and hugged him as tightly as she could. Will took her to April, where she was waiting to show him a surprise. He introduced his plum cake to her. April was very happy for him because he never used to happy like that.

April invited him to his wedding at WHITE HEAVEN BEACH, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA and it was 3 months from that day. Mia was excited to go there and Will was also accepted her to took her along with him.

Day after tomorrow, he said her to take her to his concert. That concert became a huge hit because Will was entirely different person on that concert and he really enjoyed performing in in front of his plum cake and crowd. Mia really enjoyed being on that concert. After the concert he took her to dinner, where they really had a huge dinner. Then he took her to a place at the edge of the rood, where he showed the beauty of moon to her. He had a present for her and he presented it. She opened it and it was Guitar. She started crying when she saw that because she always dreamt of having a guitar of her own. She doesn’t knew how to play it and she asked Will to taught her how to play guitar. Now he became a teacher to.

          She planned some surprise for Will on a special day. She asked Will to go out somewhere and not to return until before 6 p.m. After Will left, she made a huge plan for that day. She decided to prepare dinner for him and she called April to help her. After an hour of hard work she finished the dinner and she requested April to stay with them to dinner. Will came sharply at 6 p.m. and he brought some Lilies for his plum cake because Mia loves Lilies than other flowers. He knocked the door. Mia asked him to wait for some time until she arranges everything. After 5 minutes she opened the door, he was shocked and he has no words to say because she wore a dress that used to wore by Eva when she was in school. He kept it as a memory of her.

“Where did you find it, my plum cake” Will asked.

“In the closet, Will” she replied.

He picked her up and kissed her. At that moment he felt that Eva was not dead yet. She invited him and April to the dinner and she served them. Mia gave Will a plate of plum cakes and he found that it was arranged in an order of “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY, WILL”. He had no words to say and he just hugged her and said

“You’re my favorite plum cake and you’re the second person in my life who I loved most”

“Who was the first one, Will?” she asked with a little angry.

He tried to say but April changed the topic to surprises. Mia went upstairs to grab her surprise for him, at that time, Will thanked April for helping him at that moment. Mia gave her present to Will and he was excited to open that, where he found a chain and a card. He took the chain out and Mia said that it was the last thing with her, which belongs to his mother. She requested him to ware it for her and he found that in that card

“Hi Will, this is your plum cake. You’re the best thing happened in my life Will and I need it till my end of life. I wish to god, if he gave me a chance of next time I want to born as your own daughter. I lost my mom when I was very little but now I found her as you. Please stay with me and don’t leave me because I don’t think I can survive without you. You’re my everything Will, just everything.

Will’s heart bare no longer, he just kneeled before her and just hugged his plum cake. April felt something inside her while seeing them as together. She prayed to god that she to want a husband like Will and a daughter like Mia. Will and Mia went to drop April at home and Will thanked her coming. While sleeping, she rolled into his hands and asked about the first one he loved most.

This time, Will doesn’t hesitate to share about Eva. This he made it has a bed time story. She became very happy to hear about his first love as a story.

Eva and Will were friends from home and their family to. Will and Will’s family were new to the town and they shifted in adjacent house of Eva. They were friends since they were small like very small. They used to play together and they two were inseparable. They used to goes to the same school but in a different classes. She was pretty, coolest and talented girl in their school. He wasn’t talented like her but he was very good at guitar. They were happy with each other until Eva fell in love with Jeffery. Jeffery was a brilliant and a hero of the school. Everything started in a trucking camp organized by the eco club of their institution. Will couldn’t made camp because he had an audition for junior musician award at school. Eva enjoyed the Jeffery’s company because she misses Will. Something started to grow inside her towards Jeffery. After the camp, she ran to Will to confess what happened to her. Will had something to. He gave the chance to Eva. She said that she thinks that she was in love with Jeffery. It was felt like heart broke for him but manage to hide it from her and he said that he was happy for him. Eva gave him his chance. He said that he was selected for the junior musician award. She was very happy for him. She asked his help to impress Jeffery, he was not very happy to do that but he said ‘yes’ for her. He arranged them their first date in a river side.

He did very great decorations for that. He arranged that table and chair inside a glass room. He made a great view of sky to them. He placed roses and lilies in the walls of the room and it was lighten by candle in the table. He brought some wines and dinner for them, even placed a music player in the room to fulfill it. He gifted her, a dress for his first date and with a wish note on it. He was very happy until he saw them together in a car. He handed over that room for them and he picked his guitar and went little far from them. He started playing his guitar and he felt something strange which he never felt before. His guitar said how much he missed her. He never played like that before. It was like a candle in a space of darkness. It was beautiful but still painful. After a few hours, Eva came in searching for him. Will’s music from his guitar guided her to him. She listened to that music, she cried on his way to him. She went to him and asked him why he was playing like that. Even she also never saw him playing like that. He hid his feeling and said he was writing a song. She sat nearby him in the banks of river and she asked him to play it again for her. She loved that song and it was felt like a breeze crossing her. Then she walked home with Will. She grabbed Will’s hand into her hands, while she thanked for him for that arrangements. At that time, he realized that he had feeling for her but it was late for him.

“You look like Cinderella in the blue dress.” he commented on her dress.

“Really, thank you this dress. It was very comfortable and Jeffery liked it to.” She replied.

They arrived at their home. She hugged him and went to her home. Eva’s father asked her about that date. She replied with a huge smile in her lips. His father said,

“I knew, you two were born to be together.”

“Dad, you knew Jeffery already.” She asked.

“Who is Jeffery?” he shocked.

“Then, whom you thought.” she asked.

“I thought, you were going date with Will” he replied.

“Dad, he was my friend.” she said and went to her room.

Before going to sleep, she saw Will through his window. She saw Will in the roof where he was playing his guitar. Then she turned the lights off and of to her bed. Will was worried that someday Eva spends very less time with him and someday not.

One day Eva and Will had a serious argument, they always argues with each other but it always had a sweet ending. But this time it went into real and she started scolding him and went off.

Evening she went to Jeffery’s house, where she saw him with another girl. It broke her into very tiny pieces. Eva’s father called Will and said she wasn’t came yet. Will went in searching, he found her in their secret place of hiding. He went to her. As soon as he touched her shoulder, she turned and hugged him tightly and started crying. And said she saw Jeff with another girl. He wiped her tears and took her to a very special place for him and played his favorite song for her. The song was “Lavender’s blue, dilly, dilly, Lavender’s green”. He fixed her broken in a few seconds of his music. She felt secure and happy with him. She rested her head his shoulder and enjoyed that song. At that second, she had a whole happy life with Will when she was in his shoulders.  Then she realized his man wasn’t Jeffery, It was Will. She rolled her hands into his hand tightly.

He took her home, she kissed him went his home. While going to bed she saw, Will on the roof again. She went to him and asked him help her claim up into roof. He grabbed her from the floor and she sat nearby him.

“What’re you doing Will” she asked.

“Did you see that star, it’s my mom” he replied and said, “I know it’s not the right time to say but now or ever. I want you in my life as a good friend, as a mother, as a care taker, as a foe, as a soul partner, as a wife. I’m sorry but I need you to be more than a friend to me.”

“I will but on a one condition Will” she surprised him.

“What is that?” he asked.

“Kiss me” she said.

He kissed her and then they lied on the roof. Next morning, they said it to their parents and they were happy for them. After a year, they got married. Will and Eva brought a community center from the concerts of Will. Educating young ones were the dream of Eva. She had Will by her side in her every decision.

She always used sleep in his chest and sometime she even rolled into him. They loved each other than every other’s in world. Will was so happy because his child was in Eva. They were happy to the child’s face. They even named it ‘JUNE’.

 It was May 10, Will and Eva were travelling back to their family. In a blink, their car was in the river. It was a crucial accident. Will got Eva out of drowning car but he couldn’t able to save her from the stream. The stream took Eva away from Will. Will searched for her everywhere in the water but doesn’t know was in the stream. He went along the river as far as he can go. In half a kilometre he saw blood everywhere in the river, he was fainted.

Police took him to the hospital and reported the situation and confirmed the death of Eva. But they couldn’t found her body. He couldn’t accept it because she was 8 months. He started to blame himself for her loss.

“I’m sorry about Eva, Will” Mia rolled into him.

She couldn’t able to sleep that night, because of that story. Will took his plum cake to sleep by playing his favorite song.

  After getting the passport for Mia, they set course to Queensland, Australia. They went to April’s marriage but two weeks before her marriage so that they can enjoy Queensland. They booked their room in Roof View Hotel near White Heaven Beach. They spent a whole day in the Hotel because of the jet lag. They had to do list like

1.     Driving in the sands of Fraser Island.

2.     Dive into Great Barrier Reef.

3.     Safari at Dain tree Rainforest.

They did everything in their To Do list. Will took Mia to Whitsunday beach in the Whitsunday Islands. It was a white sand beach. Mia followed the Will’s foot prints in the sand. Will turned and saw Mia, he was embarrassed to it. She walked inside his footprints. It was like heart inside a body.

          Next day, they went to Cairns town. While they having food in a restaurant, suddenly Mia went outside. He followed her and he asked why she did that. She said that she saw her mother in the bus. Will borrowed a bike from shop keeper by giving him his car key. They chased the bus and went to the every station the bus goes. Mia mother wasn’t there. She became sad. To clam her down, he took her the flower shop. Outside the shop, she saw her again and she ran to her and hugged her. Will left her because he loved her. But she dragged him back and took him to his mother. He was shocked because the lady standing in front of him was his Eva, which means Mia was his daughter. Will and Eva where froze at that moment. Suddenly Eva hugged him and started crying. Mia couldn’t understand what was happening there. They doesn’t leave one other, they hugged each other tightly. While Will signaled to Mia that she was my Eva. Mia understood that if Eva was her mother means Will was his father. Then she realized that why she felt comfortable with Will. She ran into them. Will took Eva and Mia to his place and asked what happened at that day.

She said that the stream took her far away from the incident scene and an old man rescued her from the banks. And the old man took her along with him to Queensland. He forced her to work for him, until she pays his debut for saving him. 5 months ago, she escaped from him and came to Will’s concert but she got caught. That was where she missed Mia. And the old man took her back to Queensland.

He asked her to take care of Mia until his return. Will gave everything he had his golden rings, chains, his car but the old man doesn’t satisfy with that he demanded more. The old man demanded his guitar he gave it to him because he had no other way to save his Eva from the old man.

He came to the room with an empty hand, she questioned him

“Why are you like this?”

“You are mine once again” he replied.

“What happened to your guitar?” she asked.

“I gave it to him to free you from debut” he answered.

“But it’s from your mother, it was the last thing you had left of her” she said.

“I gave it because, I need you in life than I needed it in my life” he said.

She kissed him and then hugged him, Will invited Mia to join them in their hug. Finally the big day came, Will went to the April’s marriage with his family. He introduced Eva and revealed the truth about of his plum cake to April. He played a song for April in her wedding. And he dedicated that song to April. April was very happy for the song because he wrote it for her.

Next day, Will had a concert on Queensland, he went there with his family and he played “lavender’s blue, dilly, dilly, lavenders green” in the concert and he made some little changes to original song. Eva gave the voice for the song along with him.

After the concert, they had dinner together after a very, very long time. In the bed, Eva took her place in Will chest. She was in his right side, straight above his heart. Mia was in his left. He saved them from the darkness of night.
