Happy Birthday Stranger IV

 Previously on Happy Birthday Stranger

Stella reads,

“I wonder why I’m writing this now, because I’ve always wanted to write my own journal. But I can’t believe that he will be a reason behind the start of my journal.

I met a stranger yesterday. Actually he is not a stranger, his name is Kabir. Because of him, I had a happiest birthday of my life.

It’s been 2 months since we met and I haven’t talked or met him after that day. I think I’m starting to miss him, I don’t know why I’m missing for a one day man like Santa who comes on the night of Christmas Eve and disappears on the morning of Christmas day.

One day while cleaning my closet I found his jacket and tried it on. I felt the same comfort as I felt that day. When I put my hands into the pocket, I found a piece of paper with mobile number. I just took my mobile and texted, I didn’t think anything else.

“Hi stranger,

Hope you remember me.”

And I got a very fast reply,

“If I’m right, you said I’m no more a stranger to you.”

“What took you so long to find my number?”

“I thought you were smart”

“Meet me at central park, 6pm”

“Don’t be late”

I made to the central park on time. I was wearing a blue shirt with pink skirt. I was nervous. But he doesn’t seem nervous at all. He was in t-shirt and a blue jean which made him quite handsome. He just hugged and said “Hi”. And then took me to a nearby café. He just ordered two cappuccinos without asking me and he didn’t even pulled my chair. But I liked him.

He didn’t talk much about him but he did more about common things. Then suddenly he maintained silence, it looked like he was trying to say something. I thought he was going to propose. Suddenly I said, “I have a boyfriend”. I was so stupid because he was trying to ask me something. It really felt awkward but he took smoothly by saying he too has his valentine.

We planned for a double date the next day. After coming home I called Rahul to say about double date. He also said ok because he was curious to meet Kabir like I was once.

The next day, we went to same café. After a few minutes Kabir came in. It looked like he was coming alone, but when he neared us, a girl appeared behind him.

She was in a wheelchair and Kabir drove it toward us. She was cute and she was beautiful even than me. She doesn’t look like she had a serious problem. I introduced Rahul to him and they just hugged each other and talked like old friends. He introduced her as his valentine. Actually her name was Annie. She had a cute name like her.

Along with our conversation, I asked him “What happened to her?”

“Stage III colon cancer” Kabir said. “They found it last month.”

I and Rahul felt sorry for them. They were happy together. And she was happiest person, I ever met. I don’t how she was doing. If ever got chance, I will ask her?

Kabir never took his eyes off from Annie. She never took her hand from his hand. They were always interlocked. They always smiling at each other, the way they were to each other made me little jealous. They are perfect for each other.

Rahul asked, “How long have you two been together?”

“I know her since she was 12” Kabir said. “But he proposed me on my 20th birthday.” Annie corrected him.

After getting home I thanked Kabir and Annie for wonderful day.”

“Kabir, come here.” Stella called him out. “Coming Stella!” said Kabir and he came out with two cappuccinos. He handed one to Stella and he took one and sat near to Stella.

“Who is Annie?” Stella asked.

Stay with Stella and Kanmani to untie more.

Let's Find Her

After doing a power packed performance, Will Page was on his way to his psychologist. He was a lead singer and a guitarist on his band. Band was called CRAZY MIKE and it was named after the memories of his grandfather Mike page. Will owes millions of hearts for his performance. April was his psychologist and she was best friend to. He used to visit April twice in a week for his mental health. After finishing that session he went to home.           It was a middle of night he waked from his sleep because of his terrible memory. He never shared that with anyone before including April. He never had complete sleep, since after her loss. He did his best to forget about her but nothing helped him, hence he went to alcohol. Next day morning, he went to April and he shared that “She was Eva and we were high school sweethearts. I knew her since she was 6. We were used to play together. We got married and she was pregnant to. Everything went beautiful and nice until that day.” He couldn’t

NOW OR NEVER

Nick was on his way to Santa Maria. On his way, he decided to a break in San Pietro. He stopped in the nearest café. Where he unexpectedly saw Joe, she was his old friend. She used to work there. It was a surprise for him, because it has been 5 years since they last met. They had a little talk about them. In the middle of their talk Joe asked, “Have you ever met her after?” and he smiled. She brought him his favorite drink and she went the kitchen and start working on the dish, which he asked for. He made himself comfortable before having his drink. There was a little girl singing with her cute little guitar. It made him to feel like the old times. (“Drinks bring back all the memories, memories bring back, memories bring you” song continues to play in the background.) While, He having his drink, a girl rushed into café with her guitar. The manager already did the arrangements for her. She took her guitar from her bag and went to her chair and started playing it. Everyone on that

Aye! Aye! Captain!

(Anannya writing her diary) 4 March 2014 It was 4.30 in the morning, I checked my ticket for the last time before locking my apartment door. I couldn’t find any ride to railway station. I took my ticket from my bag and checked the departure time. It showed 5.10. I convinced myself to ask for lift. In that foggy road, I heard a bike roaring. From the roar, I founded that it was a HIMALAYAN from Royal Enfield, which was coming towards me. Without a second thought, I hand signaled. The bike stopped right next to me. “Off to?” the man inside the helmet asked. “Railway station” I murmured. He nodded. The bike was fully packed and it looked like he was going for long road trip. I hardly managed to sit because of those bags. He dropped me in the station and then he went. I was already behind the clock, so I ran in. There was no train on the platform. I thought it doesn’t arrived yet, but the speaker announced that the train Kolkata has been departed early. But I had a plan B, Tr
