It's never been easy!! C1

When the cold morning breeze hit him, James turned on his music player.

“It’s raining, it’s pouring

It’s 4 in the morning and I don't wanna cry but I need you here cus I'm a

mess......”

The song exactly matched his mood for the morning walk. After his jog, he returned home and Stella was still under her woolen blanket. After a quick refresh, he started preparing breakfast. The smell of the breakfast did what he couldn’t, it woke up Stella. After the breakfast James dropped Stella at college and leaved to work.

As time goes Stella started feeling alone because no one showed interest in her especially that day. She thought that her friends would knew, that it was her birthday. But no one really cared about that and James will be no exception. Hence she decided to celebrate her birthday on her own. She went to cafeteria and brought her favorite vanilla creamed mint cup cake with a small candle. She lit up the candle then blew it off before enjoying her cake.

James went to purchase a music cassette in the nearby music shop for his collection, while he was searching for the new cassettes, an unwelcomed fellow came into the shop with a gun in his hand and started threatening the lady who was behind the desk. James wanted to act uncared what was happening but that fellow with the gun crossed the line which he shouldn’t. He sent an emergency message to his friend before entering the game. James lured him. That unlucky fellow did he shouldn’t, he listened.  James over took the situation and grabbed the gun as soon as he reached it. When he tried to claim his gun back, James dismantled it. In the anger he attacked James. James smiled and knocked him down with a single punch. Before coming in to sense everything was finished. James colleagues came in and took that stupid who confronted James. As James leaving the shop that Lady handed his cassettes which he forgot to take.

When he returned home, he found Stella under her favorite blanket. From the out she looked normal but inside the blanket she was weeping. She couldn’t believe that no one remembered her birthday.

James came to woke her up for dinner. He sent her down to prepare the plates so he could change his clothes before the dinner. When she came out of her room and everything was dark except her room. She reached for the switch but she saw someone lighting up the candle. She left the switch untouched and came down stairs. When she half crossed stairs, the entire room was lit by candles. Faces of Zebby, August, Priya and her favorite Arun were appeared from nowhere in the candle lights. Priya and Arun where twins.

Tears rolled down from Stella’s eyes by seeing them, holding the candles and hearing them singing the birthday song. By leaning against the wall, James enjoyed everything from behind. Suddenly the candles went dark and a single candle lit up the whole room, which was placed upon the cake. And Arun brought it towards her. Her cheeks turned to red, her lips were struggling to say a word and her eyes were fighting to hold back the tears which already rolled down. James enjoyed seeing her from behind.

She thanked everyone for coming and for making her day a memorable day. “Thank James, he is one who behind all of this” said Priya. “We to agree” said August and Zebby. “He even baked the cake of his own” said Arun. After big group hug, everyone went home. Stella searched for James and he was sitting in the backward by having a cup of hot chocolate and enjoying the moon. Their house was in the banks of BLUE LAKE. Stella took the chair which was next to him. He offered her a cup of hot chocolate by saying, “She is pretty, isn’t she?” Stella accepted that by answering him, “She is always has and always will be!”

“James?” Stella called him by chipping the hot chocolate.

“Hmm!” James answered.

“Thank you for today!” Stella melted by saying those words. James left what Stella wanted him to feel by hearing those words.

“It’s too early for those tears in your eyes” said James.

“What?” Stella asked.

“When you go to your room, you will see” James said and started having his hot chocolate and started enjoying her (moon). Stella doesn’t know what exactly he meant but she ran to her room. When she switched on the light, she saw huge box in her bed. She got excited has she approaches it. As she unwraps it, she found a photo inside the box. A photo of her with her parents. A photo which was taken before the accident in which their parents leaved her alone in this world. Below the photo she found her mother favorite guitar. She doesn’t know what to do, she was blanked out. There was a note below the guitar and it reads, “She will always be with you Stella, Happy birthday”

Without wasting a second, she picked up the guitar and ran to James. While leaving the room, she realized that she missed the photograph. She returned to take it and ran back to James.

Tears rolled down her eyes while she was holding the guitar. It was her mother’s.

“It was her favorite!” said James. Stella hugged him so tight and she even wiped her tears in his shirt.

Stella lied down by placing her head in James lap and hugged the guitar so close to her. “James!” Stella called him. “Stella!” said James.

            Stella started speaking,

“There was a time when I lost my parents in the accident and left alone in this lonely world. It was really scary. And my life looked completely dark, whatever memory I had was already turned to dark. Then one day I saw a car in front of my house. By just seeing the car made happy and don’t know why.

When I came in, you were in their sitting in the chair and having a wine. After that I became who I am now.

You came into my life as a twinkling star and burned down my sadness as a sun. Slowly you became my moon and my Polaris. Now I know why my mother called you as her everything. I couldn’t imagine my life without in it”

“I should have accepted your thank you in the first place” James said by laughing.

“I’m not joking James. My mother was right, because you are everything that I have.” said Stella by punching in his stomach.

“Why didn’t you leaved me, when everyone did?” Stella asked James. “You are the only thing, my sister left for me in this world” said James.

James gave her an envelope and a box. Stella opened the box first. Inside the box, she found a finger guard and her name etched in it. She wore it and started playing the guitar.

“Do you want to open it?” James asked by showing the envelope. Stella grabbed it and opened it. She doesn’t know what to say because it was the only photo of her with her parents and James in it.

James got a message in his pager. Stella felt something was wrong because he won’t get any message in his pager unless or until it was something. He took his pager long with his badge. The badge which reads, “BLPD”.

And the pager reads,

 “Behead, in the subway!!!”

Let's Find Her

After doing a power packed performance, Will Page was on his way to his psychologist. He was a lead singer and a guitarist on his band. Band was called CRAZY MIKE and it was named after the memories of his grandfather Mike page. Will owes millions of hearts for his performance. April was his psychologist and she was best friend to. He used to visit April twice in a week for his mental health. After finishing that session he went to home.           It was a middle of night he waked from his sleep because of his terrible memory. He never shared that with anyone before including April. He never had complete sleep, since after her loss. He did his best to forget about her but nothing helped him, hence he went to alcohol. Next day morning, he went to April and he shared that “She was Eva and we were high school sweethearts. I knew her since she was 6. We were used to play together. We got married and she was pregnant to. Everything went beautiful and nice until that day.” He couldn’t

NOW OR NEVER

Nick was on his way to Santa Maria. On his way, he decided to a break in San Pietro. He stopped in the nearest café. Where he unexpectedly saw Joe, she was his old friend. She used to work there. It was a surprise for him, because it has been 5 years since they last met. They had a little talk about them. In the middle of their talk Joe asked, “Have you ever met her after?” and he smiled. She brought him his favorite drink and she went the kitchen and start working on the dish, which he asked for. He made himself comfortable before having his drink. There was a little girl singing with her cute little guitar. It made him to feel like the old times. (“Drinks bring back all the memories, memories bring back, memories bring you” song continues to play in the background.) While, He having his drink, a girl rushed into café with her guitar. The manager already did the arrangements for her. She took her guitar from her bag and went to her chair and started playing it. Everyone on that

Aye! Aye! Captain!

(Anannya writing her diary) 4 March 2014 It was 4.30 in the morning, I checked my ticket for the last time before locking my apartment door. I couldn’t find any ride to railway station. I took my ticket from my bag and checked the departure time. It showed 5.10. I convinced myself to ask for lift. In that foggy road, I heard a bike roaring. From the roar, I founded that it was a HIMALAYAN from Royal Enfield, which was coming towards me. Without a second thought, I hand signaled. The bike stopped right next to me. “Off to?” the man inside the helmet asked. “Railway station” I murmured. He nodded. The bike was fully packed and it looked like he was going for long road trip. I hardly managed to sit because of those bags. He dropped me in the station and then he went. I was already behind the clock, so I ran in. There was no train on the platform. I thought it doesn’t arrived yet, but the speaker announced that the train Kolkata has been departed early. But I had a plan B, Tr
