Happy Birthday Stranger V

 Previsouly on Happy Birthday Stranger

A beautiful truth of my life” Kabir answered. Stella doesn’t know what to say, she just stayed quiet. Kabir took her hand and made it interlocked with his hand. They were so close to each other, such a way they can exchange their breath. Their breath made them warm than the campfire. Stella rested her head in his shoulders. He showed her his favorite star and he called it as Valentine. They just starred at night sky with a plenty of silence in between them.

“Stella, come with me” Kabir called. He took her to a place. “Kabir, where are you taking me?” Stella asked. “It’s already late, we should head home.”

“Stella, just close your eyes” Kabir requested. She tightly closed her eyes with her cute little eye lids. “Stella, now!” Kabir said. When she opened her eyes, she saw a grass flied with some dense trees in it. Kabir just thrown a stone into the grass field. Suddenly the place was got lighten up by fireflies. And she saw Kabir was kneeling in front of her. Those fireflies lighten up of his face.

He said, “Stella, I was empty until you stepped into my life. You gave a meaning to it and taught that life is worth of living.” She exhaled slowly while her heart started to pound. He took a ring from his pocket and continued, “Stella, I want to live that life with you, will you marry me!”

Her eyes were filled with tears, her cheeks turned pink and her lips were struggling to deliver a word. She doesn’t know what to say other than nodding her head. He took her hand and wear it on. He neared her and she kissed him. Their lips deserves that. She placed her head in his chest so she could hear his heartbeat. It’s like she was within him.

From far away wolves howled.

Those wolves added a little fear to their romancing hearts. Stella hugged him tight. He felt her fear from her hug.

They came back home. After leaving her in her bed, he went to his.

While going to off the switches, she found Kanmani’s journal. She took a look at the clock, it was 11.00pm. Hence she decided to Kanmani’s journal for some time. She opened it and started reading,

“That day after having a coffee with Rahul, I found Annie at community center. And I went in. She was surprised to me see there. I volunteered help her. After community center, Annie took me to a Café. When I entered I founded that Kabir was performing there as a lead guitarist. Kabir murmured something to Annie and she said something in return. He swing his hand at me.

Annie sat in a way that she could look at him and I sat opposite to her. Annie ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a hot chocolate. I asked, “What’s about cappuccino?” “It’s our drink” she said. “Annie I always wanted to ask you something?” I said. “You can ask me anything” she said. “What’s your secret behind your happiness” I asked. She saw Kabir. “Kabir!” I asked. “Yes, he is” she said and continued, “You know, the first thing he did after hearing about my cancer”. “What?” I asked. Annie said, “He kissed me and said I’m gonna be alright to the doctors in the room”. “Of course, he would” I smiled.

After the performance he came down from the stage and kissed Annie before settling down. I still got jealous of seeing them. He drank the cappuccino which Annie left for him in her cup. Then Kabir took her home.

I was there that day, Kabir did his marriage proposal to Annie. That day at that same café after the daily performance, Kabir took his guitar and played his original. He wrote her a song and he called that song as ‘Northern lights’. That song was really awesome. Annie was glowing while he playing.

Annie tried to get out of the chair. Annie was very week, she couldn’t able to stand on her own feet. Kabir took her in his hands and made her stand upon his legs. She warped him tightly so she could stand straight. She rested her head upon his shoulders. They danced. They danced like the northern lights. They were like gazelles on the dance floor.

Everything goes well and good until that moment. Annie started to lose her grip on him and her nose was bleeding. Kabir’s shoulders were full of her blood. We took her to the hospital and the situation looked pretty serious. Kabir asked me to call her parents and he stayed in the hospital all the night.

It’s been a week since Annie was admitted in the hospital. Kabir called me and asked me to stay with Annie, so he can go home and prepare some of her favorite food for Annie. When I got there, Annie was wake. She liked the flowers I brought for her though those weren’t her favorite. She always used to talk about Kabir, so I asked her why ‘Kabir?’ In reply she said,

“He is my best friend and cute and kind and he never showed sympathy on me and I really liked him. Apart from all of that he is mine”. Actually I had no idea what she was saying but I realized that she loves him more than anyone and anything.

Kabir actually came back very soon and he cooked for me also. He served us and it was that was really awesome. It’s one of the best meal I ever had. “See this is what I’m talking about” Annie said. I can tell by just looking her face, how much she loves him.

Rahul came by, actually Kabir called him. We four had a great time together. We leaved them alone in the hospital and went back to Rahul’s house. It’s where I got a call from my step-dad and it was about my mother and he asked me come by soon. So I took the first flight in the morning.

My mom passed away. Before she closes her eyes, she asked me to find my brother.”

Did Kanmani know where her brother is?

Thank you for spending time with me J

Let's Find Her

After doing a power packed performance, Will Page was on his way to his psychologist. He was a lead singer and a guitarist on his band. Band was called CRAZY MIKE and it was named after the memories of his grandfather Mike page. Will owes millions of hearts for his performance. April was his psychologist and she was best friend to. He used to visit April twice in a week for his mental health. After finishing that session he went to home.           It was a middle of night he waked from his sleep because of his terrible memory. He never shared that with anyone before including April. He never had complete sleep, since after her loss. He did his best to forget about her but nothing helped him, hence he went to alcohol. Next day morning, he went to April and he shared that “She was Eva and we were high school sweethearts. I knew her since she was 6. We were used to play together. We got married and she was pregnant to. Everything went beautiful and nice until that day.” He couldn’t

NOW OR NEVER

Nick was on his way to Santa Maria. On his way, he decided to a break in San Pietro. He stopped in the nearest café. Where he unexpectedly saw Joe, she was his old friend. She used to work there. It was a surprise for him, because it has been 5 years since they last met. They had a little talk about them. In the middle of their talk Joe asked, “Have you ever met her after?” and he smiled. She brought him his favorite drink and she went the kitchen and start working on the dish, which he asked for. He made himself comfortable before having his drink. There was a little girl singing with her cute little guitar. It made him to feel like the old times. (“Drinks bring back all the memories, memories bring back, memories bring you” song continues to play in the background.) While, He having his drink, a girl rushed into café with her guitar. The manager already did the arrangements for her. She took her guitar from her bag and went to her chair and started playing it. Everyone on that

Aye! Aye! Captain!

(Anannya writing her diary) 4 March 2014 It was 4.30 in the morning, I checked my ticket for the last time before locking my apartment door. I couldn’t find any ride to railway station. I took my ticket from my bag and checked the departure time. It showed 5.10. I convinced myself to ask for lift. In that foggy road, I heard a bike roaring. From the roar, I founded that it was a HIMALAYAN from Royal Enfield, which was coming towards me. Without a second thought, I hand signaled. The bike stopped right next to me. “Off to?” the man inside the helmet asked. “Railway station” I murmured. He nodded. The bike was fully packed and it looked like he was going for long road trip. I hardly managed to sit because of those bags. He dropped me in the station and then he went. I was already behind the clock, so I ran in. There was no train on the platform. I thought it doesn’t arrived yet, but the speaker announced that the train Kolkata has been departed early. But I had a plan B, Tr
