Arman

 

Asha was standing in a cliff and taking her last breath.

“It’s very steep isn’t it” said the boy.

“Who the hell are you man?” Asha shouted at him.

“Cappuccino!” he offered a cup, she acted like she doesn’t even cared.

“Why don’t you have a cup, before your jump.” he gave her a cup.

“By the way, I’m Arman!” he extended her a hand. She accepted it by saying her name, “Asha!” They both started having their cappuccinos.

“Great view isn’t it” said Arman.

“A beautiful place to end my life” replied Asha.

“If you want to end your life, choose a higher cliff” laughed Arman. Her eyes were filled with tears.

“Don’t waste your tears, you deserve better” said Arman.

“Am I?” asked Asha.

“Yes, you are!” said Arman confidently.

“So, what happened between you two?” asked Arman. “How do you know?” asked Asha.

“I saw you couple of times with him and now you are standing here in the cliff alone” he shrugged and said, “I guessed.

“I haven’t confessed to him yet!” Asha said sadly. “Then, what are you waiting for!” asked Arman curiously.

“What if!” Asha hesitated.

“Never end your life for some underrated questions like WHAT IF?” said Arman. Asha don’t know what to speak.

“I know, he loves you too!” said Arman.

“How can you be sure?” asked Asha.

“What do you got to lose?” Arman asked.

“Remember! There is no right time or right opportunity, you have to create it. Just say what you have to say to him.” said Arman.

“What if I’m late” asked Asha.

“Better late than never!” said Arman.

She finally gathered her strength to confess to him. While she enjoying the great view of the cliff, Arman paid the bill and walked out.  

“Thank you!” said Asha.

“For what?” Arman asked.

Asha smiled and said, “For the cappuccinos”. Arman smiled and started walking.

“Will I see you around?” asked Asha.

“I’m always around” said Arman.

“Hey! What’s your name again?” asked Asha.

“Arman!” said Arman.

“What that means?” asked Asha.

“Hope!” said Arman and walked out.

Cell rings……

Asha wake from her sleep.

The saddest truth is, you will be the first civilization who will have complete knowledge about extinct before going extinct. Sorry to start with such negativity, but that’s the fact.
