It's never been easy!! C3

After many years, he was thunderstruck. Not that he doesn't want to talk, he just couldn’t find the right words though he had many things to say. Although a huge battle between his memories and his words, he forced a smile on his and said, “Julie”. “It’s been years, right?” said Julie. “7 years, 6 months and 14 days” James whispered. “Did you said anything, James” Julie asked. “Just!” James said.

With a forced smile, James greeted her to join with them.

“Kev! This is Julie, my.” again James dumbstruck. This time Julie helped him to finish his words by saying, “Friend, an old one!” “This is Kevin, my partner” James introduced both of them to each other. Kevin understood the unspoken words of James. After sharing some “Hellos” with Julie he left them two alone by acting like he had a phone call. Now the two of them were left alone with their memories.

“Mam your orders” waitress asked Julie. “A Cappuccino with chocolate chip on it” said James before Julie answers. “You, remembered!” Julie asked. “Somethings were worth of remembering, weren’t they” James replied. Suddenly there was deadly silent between them. That silent paved a way to their memories. The memories flooded into them like a down falling water fall. Two of them remembered what they wanted to remember.

            Thoughts of James,

“On a very beautiful morning in the spring of 2014, James was slowly riding in his bike to college. While crossing the over bridge, he heard a voice of girl behind him. He suddenly stopped his bike and turned back. Without asking or saying anything, a girl got into his bike and asked him to drop her at the college. James took a minute to think realize what was happening. But that girl intruded his thought and asked him to ride. That girl covered her face with some clothes hence he couldn’t got a chance to see who she was and how she was.

They reached the college.

While adjusting the mirror, he did something that shouldn’t be done. He saw her face in the mirror. That’s it, everything has gone over the threshold now there is no turning back from it.

She stepped in front and gave him a hand by introducing herself, “I’m Julie” She knew that he was staring at her through the mirror yet she gave her hand. He couldn’t keep distance from her especially from her eyes. He voluntarily prisoned himself in her deadly yet mesmerizing eyes.

She cleared her neck to get his attention. “I’m James” finally he took his heart out and gave it in her hand. By saying bye to him she just left without even a thank you. A moment later she turned back and gave him a smile.”

            Thoughts of Julie,

“On a pleasant evening of December 2015, Julie nocked on the door and James welcomed her inside his flat. It was neat, simple and clean. He decorated his flat with beautiful flowering plants and the fragrance of those plants filled the room with mesmerizing aroma. It alone created a mood. Julie made herself comfortable in the sofa and James went to kitchen to finish what he started.

Julie came to the kitchen and leaned on his back, she started cuddling him. They were meant to create something special that day. James asked her to set the table. When she went to table to place two glass wines. She noticed that James mobile was started vibrating. She did something that shouldn’t be done. Something was tempted her to take the mobile. She didn’t knew that taking his mobile will turn her world upside down. She clicked the power button, immediately a text message was popped up and which reads ‘Love you J’ Julie just dropped the phone as soon as she read it. Something just tore her heart apart.

She took it in her hands and unlocked it again. She opened his chat box and there was sender named “Princess S” Julie clicked on it and read the recent texts. She knew that “S” means Sara, James bloody schoolmate.

“Thank you for the night James”

“I really slept well after long time”

“Hoping to see you tonight”

“Love you J”

Those messages shattered her heart into pieces in way she couldn’t imagine. Tears from eyes filled in her lungs and made her to suffocate even in such beautiful surroundings. Without a word to him nor an answer from him, she just left with leaving her ghost with him.”

“Chief, it’s time to go” Kevin’s words brought them to reality from the past. “See you, then” James said by standing up. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Julie” said Kevin. While coming out, James smiled at the wall poster painfully.

The wall poster reads,

Even

All this time

The Sun never says

To the Earth,

“You owe me.”

Look

What happens

With a love like that.

It lights the

Whole sky

Sam noticed Julie starring at someone and she couldn’t get to saw him properly. Samantha was a dearest friend of Julie. “Who is he?” asked Sam. “James!” said Julie by still starring at him. “The one who cheated on you, right” said Sam. “Hmm. But the strange thing is that he behaved very normally” said Julie. “I couldn’t you” said Sam. “There is no guilt in his eyes” said Julie.

“Leave him, men will be men” said Sam.

James and Kevin went to Amy. In the Autopsy room Amy was doing her research with the knife found on the crime scene.

Frank asked them to assemble in the conference room while he was on his way. Frank was the senior detective in BLPD. When the three entered the room, Frank already started his speak.

Frank speaks, “

Case Name: “BEHEAD”

            Victim’s Name: Jason Smith

            Age: 38

He was executed by an unknown person and found dead in the subway, yesterday night.

Who is the killer? We don’t know!

Motive behind it? Yet to know!

Evidence? A Knife! Amy have you found anything in it?”

Amy answered him, “The executioner was very intelligent, because the knife found in the subway was not actually an evidence. It was framed. The Blood and the fingerprints in the knife were belongs to Jason smith. According to the knife, Jason smith killed himself. And the details about the corpse was in the paper in front of you sir.”

Frank continues, “Hence it is a challenge right! And we gladly accept it”

After the conference, James went to college to pick up Stella. Stella and Arun came out together. From the distance he could say a strange behavior between them. They looked like close, very close. When they neared him, he acted normal that he didn’t saw them.

James and Kevin were at James study room and discussing about the case. Stella was eavesdropping everything by standing just behind the door when their voice went low, she squeezed her at the door. Still she couldn’t hear anything. Suddenly the door opened and Stella fell into James chest. James gently slapped on her for overhearing them.

In the middle of this, Kevin handed a cup of coffee to Stella. They started to discuss about the case. Kevin accessed police database to Jason Smith.

“Got the mouse in the hole” Kevin exaggerated.

“Finally, who is the mouse” Stella said.

“Few months back he got arrested for.” Kevin stopped in the middle way.

“For?” James asked.

“For! Sexual assault” Kevin said.

Let's Find Her

After doing a power packed performance, Will Page was on his way to his psychologist. He was a lead singer and a guitarist on his band. Band was called CRAZY MIKE and it was named after the memories of his grandfather Mike page. Will owes millions of hearts for his performance. April was his psychologist and she was best friend to. He used to visit April twice in a week for his mental health. After finishing that session he went to home.           It was a middle of night he waked from his sleep because of his terrible memory. He never shared that with anyone before including April. He never had complete sleep, since after her loss. He did his best to forget about her but nothing helped him, hence he went to alcohol. Next day morning, he went to April and he shared that “She was Eva and we were high school sweethearts. I knew her since she was 6. We were used to play together. We got married and she was pregnant to. Everything went beautiful and nice until that day.” He couldn’t

NOW OR NEVER

Nick was on his way to Santa Maria. On his way, he decided to a break in San Pietro. He stopped in the nearest café. Where he unexpectedly saw Joe, she was his old friend. She used to work there. It was a surprise for him, because it has been 5 years since they last met. They had a little talk about them. In the middle of their talk Joe asked, “Have you ever met her after?” and he smiled. She brought him his favorite drink and she went the kitchen and start working on the dish, which he asked for. He made himself comfortable before having his drink. There was a little girl singing with her cute little guitar. It made him to feel like the old times. (“Drinks bring back all the memories, memories bring back, memories bring you” song continues to play in the background.) While, He having his drink, a girl rushed into café with her guitar. The manager already did the arrangements for her. She took her guitar from her bag and went to her chair and started playing it. Everyone on that

Aye! Aye! Captain!

(Anannya writing her diary) 4 March 2014 It was 4.30 in the morning, I checked my ticket for the last time before locking my apartment door. I couldn’t find any ride to railway station. I took my ticket from my bag and checked the departure time. It showed 5.10. I convinced myself to ask for lift. In that foggy road, I heard a bike roaring. From the roar, I founded that it was a HIMALAYAN from Royal Enfield, which was coming towards me. Without a second thought, I hand signaled. The bike stopped right next to me. “Off to?” the man inside the helmet asked. “Railway station” I murmured. He nodded. The bike was fully packed and it looked like he was going for long road trip. I hardly managed to sit because of those bags. He dropped me in the station and then he went. I was already behind the clock, so I ran in. There was no train on the platform. I thought it doesn’t arrived yet, but the speaker announced that the train Kolkata has been departed early. But I had a plan B, Tr
