It's never been easy!! C4

After knowing the case history of Jason Smith, Kevin looked at James. In the middle of their private investigation James and Kevin got a message from Frank, their senior detective. The message that made them to stop their investigation was, “Basketball Court ASAP.” The message they received was a very common but the time they received was very uncommon.

It was 1 am when they entered the basketball court and the first thing James and Kevin noticed that there was a head hanging in the Basketball net. James kneeled to touch the blood dropping from the head. He rubbed the blood against his finger and he felt the warmness of it.

“James, you have to see this!” one of his colleague called and he showed a body found in the neighborhood which looks similar to the previous case. A body without a head. The body was naked and crucially damaged. When the forensic took over the site, they came out. The head and body was recovered and sent to Amy for study.

Next day morning, James was called to his senior detective office.

“Morning, Detective” James greeted him. “I heard, you’re personally investigating over this case” Frank said. After a minute break James answered, “What you heard was right!” “Do you want to take over the case?” Frank asked. “You’re not joking right!” James asked in return. “Why should I be joking?” Frank said. “You knew Jason Smith, right?” Frank added. “How can I forget that bastard, Frank” James tone changed. “Then it’s good!” Frank said. “Let’s get to the business, James” Frank added. “Yes, Frank!” James said. “You can choose your team, James” Frank said. James nodded and left the office to have a coffee.

On his way, he saw a women crossing the road while using her mobile. He noticed that she doesn’t knew that the signal changed and she kept on walking down the crossroad. He also noticed a truck.

The truck driver applied the break but driver couldn’t avoid hitting her. The truck was so close that she could felt the heat of the truck engine. James dragged her back as fast as he could. The truck stopped and the women was lying in the walkway. James gave a hand to help her. She stood up by getting the help from James. After a quick check of her, James left to his coffee. It was Sam, Julie’s friend. She remembered the man who saved her from the truck was the same man who saved her from the gunned robber in the music cassette shop.

Next day, James visited Amy with Kevin. “Hi! Amy” James said by entering into her cabin. Kevin waved at her. James noticed a similar ring in both of their fingers and he even noticed their spoken yet unspoken words. He knew the meaning of it. Because, he also once did those things in his life. After their giggles, three of them went to the cold room where the corpse were studied.

“Anything interesting, yet?” asked James. “Yes, detective!” Amy said by removing the white sheet above the corpse. “Poor guy!” Kevin exhaled his breath and watched the trace of his breath in the cold room.

Amy started explaining, “The person who killed the previous victim is also the person who killed this victim.”  “How are you sure about that?” Kevin asked. Amy showed the pattern of "2" in the victims back. “There was a pattern of "3" in the back of Jason Smith and now the pattern of "2" is in this victim then there will be one more!” said Amy. “Things are getting more interesting!” said James.

“The most interesting part is that, Blood sample from the cloth which was found in the Jason's body matched with this victim” said Amy. And she continued, “The blood below the basketball net and the blood dropped from the head were the same but not the same as the blood in his body” Amy finished by pointing the corpse. “What?” Kevin asked. “The blood found in the corpse and the head was belongs to group B+ but the blood found below the net and the blood found below the head were belongs to group A-.”

“How is that possible?” Kevin asked. “The blood dropped from a pocket and the pocket was carefully stitched to the head.” Amy said by showing the area where the pocket was stitched. “So Cruel!” James exaggerated.

Amy gave a detailed report to James. With that report, James left them back to do more giggles. He came back and invited them for dinner.

The department found the identity of the victim and it was “Aaron!”

Kevin called James.

“Detective!”

“Kevin!”

“You heard the victim’s name right?”

“Hmm.”

“You knew who will be the next victim, right detective?”

“I thing, I knew!”

“They deserve this, James”

“Still, we got a job to do Kevin”

“Let's meet for dinner, James”

“See you then, Kevin”

“See you detective”

          They ended their call.

James went to mall to shop something for Stella. On his way back, a girl crashed into him in the rush.

The girl stood up by saying, “Sorry, Sorry!” It was Julie who crashed into James. By seeing the faces of each other, Memories were flooded into them.

          Thoughts of James,

"After placing his things in the locker, he went down with his friends. While walking in the corridor, a girl ran into James. Both of them fell down. Instead of helping them, his friends started laughing at both of them. James remembered the face, it was the face he fell for. "Julie, are you ok?" James asked. "James, is that you!" Julie asked. "Are you alright?" James asked. "Thank god, I met you!" Julie exaggerated. "What happened?" James asked. "I got into a fight with one of my senior" Julie said.

"Julie!" Julie’s senior shouted her name. Julie hid behind James, So that no one could see her. James and his gang helped her out. His gang stood in the way of her senior. Behind the gang, James grabbed her hand and took her to their secret hideout.

When James grabbed her hand, her clocked stopped ticking. Her heart followed him even though her legs doesn't want to.

From their hideout, they could see the whole town around the beautiful blue lake, which gives the town a name.

Julie was standing so close to him, in a way he could feel the warm of her breathe. His heart beaten out of him.”

Thoughts of Julie,

“On a pleasant evening of December 2015, Julie nocked on the door and James welcomed her inside his flat. It was neat, simple and clean. He decorated his flat with beautiful flowering plants and the fragrance of those plants filled the room with mesmerizing aroma. It alone created a mood. Julie made herself comfortable in the sofa and James went to kitchen to finish what he started.

Julie came to the kitchen and leaned on his back, she started cuddling him. They were meant to create something special that day. James asked her to set the table. When she went to table to place two glass wines. She noticed that James mobile was started vibrating. She did something that shouldn’t be done. Something was tempted her to take the mobile. She didn’t knew that taking his mobile will turn her world upside down. She clicked the power button, immediately a text message was popped up and which reads ‘Love you J’ Julie just dropped the phone as soon as she read it. Something just tore her heart apart.

She took it in her hands and unlocked it again. She opened his chat box and there was sender named “Princess S” Julie clicked on it and read the recent texts. She knew that “S” means Sara, James bloody schoolmate.

“Thank you for the night James”

“I really slept well after long time”

“Hoping to see you tonight”

“Love you J”

Those messages shattered her heart into pieces in way she couldn’t imagine. Tears from eyes filled in her lungs and made her to suffocate even in such beautiful surroundings. Without a word to him nor an answer from him, she just left with leaving her ghost with him.”

“Move aside” a person said to them and those words brought them back to reality.

“Julie!” James stammered. “What are you doing here?” Julie asked. “Just visiting, you?” James said. “Shopping!” Julie replied. “By the way, congratulations” James said by pointing the engagement ring in her finger. Julie smiled. “See you then” James said by leaving the place.

When James turned back, Julie stopped him and asked “Want to have some coffee?” “Why not?” James replied.

“James!” Julie said after making herself comfortable in the sofa. “Hmm!” James replied. “I’m going to get married, James” Julie said. “Happy to hear that, Julie” James said though his heart won’t allow him to. “His good name?” James asked. “Harry!” Julie said.  “When?” James asked. “The day after tomorrow!” Julie answered him.

Though his heart ache, his mouth spoke, “Am I not invited?”

“Are you sure about that?” Julie asked James. James had no words. “Day after tomorrow at Hotel New Life” Julie said. “See you then” James said by leaving the table.

“James” Julie stopped. James turned back. “We are cool, right?” Julie asked. “We are cool” James said and went out. Julie stood at the entrance and watched him leaving.

“Why this guilty face?” Sam asked. “Nothing!” Julie said and turned to face her. “Who is he?” Sam asked. “James!” Julie said. “The JAMES, who cheated on you right?” Sam teased her. “But he ain’t look like that” Julie said. “Leave him, Men will be men. Let’s do some shopping” Sam said and grabbed her into a shop.

Let's Find Her

After doing a power packed performance, Will Page was on his way to his psychologist. He was a lead singer and a guitarist on his band. Band was called CRAZY MIKE and it was named after the memories of his grandfather Mike page. Will owes millions of hearts for his performance. April was his psychologist and she was best friend to. He used to visit April twice in a week for his mental health. After finishing that session he went to home.           It was a middle of night he waked from his sleep because of his terrible memory. He never shared that with anyone before including April. He never had complete sleep, since after her loss. He did his best to forget about her but nothing helped him, hence he went to alcohol. Next day morning, he went to April and he shared that “She was Eva and we were high school sweethearts. I knew her since she was 6. We were used to play together. We got married and she was pregnant to. Everything went beautiful and nice until that day.” He couldn’t

NOW OR NEVER

Nick was on his way to Santa Maria. On his way, he decided to a break in San Pietro. He stopped in the nearest café. Where he unexpectedly saw Joe, she was his old friend. She used to work there. It was a surprise for him, because it has been 5 years since they last met. They had a little talk about them. In the middle of their talk Joe asked, “Have you ever met her after?” and he smiled. She brought him his favorite drink and she went the kitchen and start working on the dish, which he asked for. He made himself comfortable before having his drink. There was a little girl singing with her cute little guitar. It made him to feel like the old times. (“Drinks bring back all the memories, memories bring back, memories bring you” song continues to play in the background.) While, He having his drink, a girl rushed into café with her guitar. The manager already did the arrangements for her. She took her guitar from her bag and went to her chair and started playing it. Everyone on that

Aye! Aye! Captain!

(Anannya writing her diary) 4 March 2014 It was 4.30 in the morning, I checked my ticket for the last time before locking my apartment door. I couldn’t find any ride to railway station. I took my ticket from my bag and checked the departure time. It showed 5.10. I convinced myself to ask for lift. In that foggy road, I heard a bike roaring. From the roar, I founded that it was a HIMALAYAN from Royal Enfield, which was coming towards me. Without a second thought, I hand signaled. The bike stopped right next to me. “Off to?” the man inside the helmet asked. “Railway station” I murmured. He nodded. The bike was fully packed and it looked like he was going for long road trip. I hardly managed to sit because of those bags. He dropped me in the station and then he went. I was already behind the clock, so I ran in. There was no train on the platform. I thought it doesn’t arrived yet, but the speaker announced that the train Kolkata has been departed early. But I had a plan B, Tr
